From an idea to a room
full of possibility.

Kidada organized MBV’s NextGen Media Summit, bringing 21 high-school students together for a day of filmmaking and media learning with working professionals.

Presented by MBV Studios and STEAM Sport Inc., the summit connected learning with opportunity, including a $1,000 award supported by State Farm.

Kidada’s role
Holding the moving pieces together—from coordination to the experience students had in the room.

Build trust.
Then build together.

When Russell Family Enterprises hosted the sixth annual Russell Rocks the Block, MBV had a place at the event—and Kidada helped make that connection happen.

Her contribution went beyond securing a booth. She showed up to help families understand MBV’s work and what it could offer their community.

Kidada’s role
Building the relationship, connecting the organizations, and supporting MBV’s presence on the day.
What this demonstrates
Partnership development grounded in trust, followed by hands-on community engagement.

04 / Business strategy & founder alignment

So Organic,
So Suave.

Brand clarity. Operational focus. A stronger working relationship.

Help the business grow.
Help the founders grow together.

Through an entrepreneurship program in 2021, Kidada mentored SOSS cofounders Vernon Yancy and Jeremiah, helping shift their approach toward strategic, intentional thinking for impactful growth and scalability. At the time, the business was navigating inconsistent messaging, supply-chain challenges, and tension between the cofounders.

According to Vernon’s recommendation, their work brought the company’s purpose, vision, and story into focus. Kidada also supported conversations around manufacturing, fulfillment, product innovation, and launch planning.

The human side
Working through conflict, understanding its roots, and finding common ground helped the founders communicate more clearly.
Client-reported outcomes
Vernon credited the clearer brand story with helping SOSS secure more than $50,000 in grants, publication features, and a growing community. In the same June 2023 letter, he reported 70% growth in the prior year, a six-person team, and new manufacturing and fulfillment systems.

The founder’s perspective
